the analog
trying to keep a “log” of my life for myself and my loved ones
thank you for being here – i love you <3

the story behind the (b)log
since 2019, i’ve been trying (and failing) to be the kind of person that blogs, each time struggling to stay consistent and think of the right things to say. i guess i don’t really know what would make things different this time, except for the fact that i’m trying to not take this seriously. no goals, no expectations, and even (gasp!) no edits. i’m inviting you into the real and messy parts of my life and mind – the ones that happen offline (analog). from my breakdowns over living life without cheese, to my random side quests (read: ADHD hyperfixations), and attempts to continue finding light and whimsy in this crazy world, my intention is to release all the squirrely and unfiltered thoughts and moments into the universe. maybe as it makes its way to you, it brings you laughter or helps you understand me even just 2% better. regardless, i’m grateful you’re here, and i truly hope you keep in touch 🙂 i miss you and am sending biggg hugs your way!

As I’m writing this, I am staring at the body of my grandfather as he naps in bed. It is approximately 3:50 PM. He’s recently been telling me that he feels useless, worthless. He never expected he would have to learn what it feels like to have his body not do what it has always…

Today, I’m 23, and I wonder when I’ll really grow up. After a long conversation with my Tito about life paths and direction, the idea of what to do with the rest of my life sometimes seems rather daunting. Between you and me, it sometimes feels like in my family, excellence isn’t the exception –…
