I strive to bring an radically compassionate and inclusive approach to my work.
Though I am a queer, Filipina-Chinese woman, I recognize that the fact that I live in the diaspora has afforded me many privileges – financially, educationally, and more. I aim to spend my privilege working in solidarity with people experiencing oppression to support them in a way that is both actively anti-racist and decolonial.
A few tangible ways in which I strive to do this include:
- Highlighting the work of other BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent professionals in my blog posts
- Providing context to my work that honors the cultural and linguistic history and background of traditional practices I discuss in my blog posts
- Offering sliding scale and solidarity pricing for my services
